People’s Wall - Jan, Janani and Janmabhumi

Satyabhama Majhi served as a core ideator and curator for the project inside India’s New Parliament House. Curated alongside the Lalit Kala Akademi, the community-driven initiative showcased regional aesthetics and tribal art through the work and perspectives of female artisans from across India.

Urban Beautification Murals

Majhi has curated and created major public wall murals across Odisha, including work associated with Ring Road and the Dagabara Sahi area in Cuttack. These projects bring art into shared urban spaces and connect visual practice with everyday public life.

Working with organisations including Gram Vikas and Tata Trust, Majhi guides tribal children through creative learning programmes such as Kalpanadham, supporting them in translating daily routines and lived experiences into canvas-based expression.
